About Morton and Gettys

Michael has practiced law since 2001 and has a wide variety of experience in real property foreclosure, commercial litigation, creditors rights and real estate controversies. He previously practiced in Aiken and Columbia, South Carolina and has represented clients in state and federal courts.

Michael graduated from the University of Georgia in 1993, magna cum laude, with an undergraduate degree in Japanese Language, and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2001. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Georgia Bar and the Florida Bar.
