Assist clients with home purchase contracts and closings, mortgage refinances, and home equity lines of credit; represent builders, both small and large, in acquiring undeveloped lots, closing construction loans, and selling completed homes/and/or developed lots.

Firm’s subsidiary, Moffatt Title Insurance, provides comprehensive service and representation in certifying titles, advising clients regarding title and insurability issues; negotiate necessary and required project-specific title insurance coverage; and provide title counsel and representation in national and multi-state deals involving South Carolina property or collateral

Assist clients with accident cases, Workers' Compensation, wrongful death, minor settlements, nursing home negligence, hit and run accidents, underinsured motorist matters, and other matters involving personal injury or death

Plan and administer estates; form trusts (including living, testamentary and special needs) and trust administration; draft powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, and deeds of distribution; represent clients in minor settlements, conservatorships, guardianships, probate court matters, asset management, and business succession; review and revise out-of-state estate plans and trust agreements to conform with and/or become domiciled in North Carolina or South Carolina; represent clients in will, estate, and probate disputes and litigation
